Works with steel knives, ceramic knives, serrated blades and scissors. Place knife on a flat surface. To sharpen a knife, slide it (slight pressure) several times when the rods of tungsten carbide (black), and then the ceramic rods (white).
For sharpening serrated knives use the conical tip and separately sharpen each blade recess.
